Born in Milan in 1976, Guglielmo Miani decides to pursue his university education in the United States, and graduates from Wellson's Babson College with a degree in Business and Finance. While studying in the United States, he starts working for a bank called Prudential Securities in Boston. After graduating in 2000, Miani comes back to Italy, where he works in the textile industry, acquiring an excellent know-how. At first, he interns in the textile chemistry department at Ciba Specialty Chemicals's and then, in the same year, he joines LARUSMIANI S.p.A., the company founded by his grandfather Guglielmo. Guglielmo's career begins with little steps: first he starts to oversee all the production stages of the textile division, then the becomes the Area Manager for the Emilia Romagna area. Later, he is appointed to Export Manager and, in 2004, Director of Business Development. Finally, in 2006, he is chosen to be the CEO and, in 2011, President of LARUSMIANI. The ten-year know-how acquired in the textile and tailoring sector - which Guglielmo Miani was always surrounded by ever since he was a kid- together with the strong passion and determination that make him stand out, enable him to give continuity to the Company. Today, he is the guardian of LARUSMIANI's values ​​and through constant quality research, high craftsmanship, impeccable and deliberately understated style, Guglielmo contributes to making the Brand and the Made in Italy great in the world. Guglielmo Miani has two children and has always cultivated a passion for arts. This interest has led him to follow the new trends in design, painting, sculpture and music. Since 2010 he is the President of the MonteNapoleone Association, which brings together more than 110 prestigious luxury Brands from the Milan Fashion District. He is also a member of the Council of Confcommercio, which represents more than 700,000 companies engaged in commerce, tourism and services in Italy.
